Professor Shiba, a well-known Japanese scientist , during an archeological research, discovers an ancient bronze bell belonged to the ancient people Yamatai, subjected to the wicked Queen Himika . A population that has always made as rule of life the bossiness of man over man . The people Yamatai did not extinct, ithey went hibernated in the rocks waiting to come to life : only the magical bronze bell would allow them to conquer the world: for such a reason the professor decides to hide the bell and, taking advantage of a serious lab accident which unfortunately involves his son Hiroshi, miniaturizes the bell in the son's chest, making him invulnerable. Hiroshi grows without being aware of it; he becomes a great champion of Formula 1. One day during a race, he becomes the victim of a serious car accident, from which he remains remarkably unscathed, but nothing lets him guess his invulnerability. On his deathbed Professor Shiba hands to Hiroshi a pack containing a pair of gloves and a pendant in the shape of the head of Jeeg . These two accessories are essential for the transformation of the boy in Jeeg. Wearing the special gloves and joining the fists, Hiroshi becomes Jeeg, a sort of super hero invulnerable ; curling up on himself then there is a second transformation, which allows the young to become the head of Jeeg , the robot of steel.
